Moles, commonly are mislabeled with a very common condition medically termed Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra. These flesh colored, brown or black slightly raised imperfections can be treated to reveal smooth even toned skin. They are commonly on the face, neck, chest and back. The treatment ranges in length of time, recovery is variable ranging from 7-21+/- days. These along with some other treatable skin imperfections such as sun spots, Seborrheic Keratosis, skin tags require the same type of treatment. Typically these skin imperfections are hereditary, cosmetic in nature and do not pose any medical concern.
